Took the bike for a spin today. Wanted to run out the fuel so I could get into the tank to fix whatever is causing the fuel gauge to read "full" all the time (stuck float, I suspect). I rode over to Natchez Trace Harley Davidson and walked around the showroom. It was not one of the more impressive HD dealerships I've seen, but not bad.
Got back on the road and figured I'd cross the river on the Natchez Trace. Once I did that, I figured I'd ride on to Waterloo, which was only another 14 miles. I went there about 14 years ago to check out the handicap accessibility of voter polling locations. There was only one in the entire town.
There is a really scenic spot right on the Tennessee River with a historic site marker...the Trail of Tears. I decided to snap a couple pics. I ended up having to get a little more gas just to ensure I made it home, which I did. Really nice ride today. I guess now it's time to get to work on that gas tank.
