The headlamp sticks out about 1" or more past the retainer ring and looks like azz. Is there a larger chrome piece needed to hide the black trucklite base?
You will need the trim ring (frenched or visor) for your headlight; however, your oem trim ring will have to stay on and your new trim ring will go over the oem. I know it doesn't sound right but that's what I had to do when I installed them on my Deluxe.
If you purchased auxiliary Truck-lites you may want to buy a set of trim rings for them also, the auxiliary trim rings will replace your oem rings.

OK I bought the trim ring and installed it without the OEM ring.....Seems tight. Fits well without the OEM ring. Thanks. Yeah I am going to pick up rings for the passing lamps too......more $$$ LOL

I used the french style trim ring as well. I keep seeing people posting about needing to leave on the old trim ring to get the new french style trim ring to fit but there was no way that was going to work on mine. I did however have to beef up the inside with duct tape to get a tight fit but I did that months ago and it still fits tight.

Hmm... If y'all would give me the part number of the trim ring you purchased for your bikes I would appreciate it. There shouldn't be that much difference in your trim ring and the one for my Deluxe. The guys at the parts desk told me I needed P/N 69627-99. I'll take mine off, re-package it and take it back for an exchange.
