Decided to follow '05Train (Softail Brake Upgrade) and upgrade the front brake on my '01 Fatboy. I also decided to put in some Monotubes and add chrome sliders and cow bells. I've put Monotubes on two other bikes ('05 Ultra and '13 StreetGlide) and was pleased with the result.
I'll try and post five pics: 1) Brembo caliper 2) Brembo and EBC rotor 3) chrome sliders and cow bells 4) very useful fork cap socket (no connection to company) 5) problem child 6mm bolt (for some reason I always have to drill the left one out). Never posted pic, we'll see how it goes.
End result: better front brake and looks nice IMHO.

Looks great! I think this will be my winter project along with progressive shocks. Are those HD sliders?
Yes, they are HD. I thought about exchange or send the old ones out to plater. In the end I did not like the exchange - never know the condition of the inside (bearing-seal surfaces). Send them out was more expensive and time line was too long. So, bought the HD's. Quite frankly I was surprised by the quality (very nice). And, the inside bearing surfaces are new.
