I want to put some pull back risers on my Heritage. The dealer had a set of 4" with 1 1/2" publlback but told me these would require a longer brake line. I found a set of Baron Kickback risers in the Dennis Kirk catalog that go up 4" and pull back 1 1/2" with the claim that they will work with the original lines and cables. Anyone installed either these or any other pullback riser on a Heritage without changing the cables? I need the bars back a bit, but don't care so much about additional height.
The bars on the Heritage are "higher" than those on other softails, though so I think that could be a difference. I would probably install these myself. I tried to get the dealership to install the one's they had and they said the brake line was too short.
If your bike is equipped with ABS brakes the you may need a longer upper ABS brake line. But your Clutch,Throttle/Idle cables and wiring should be fine.
When I had my 2010 Heritage I replaced the stock riser with one from a Deluxe. I don't remember the exact change but it raised them a little and brought them back about an inch. I did not have to change any cables and the Deluxe riser was perfect for me.
