Take the bolt that you pulled out and go to any hardware store or Harley dealer. They won't need to know the size it is. Just tell them how much shorter, you want.
That might not be an option seeing that from the profile the OP is in Korea.
That is exactly the case. There is a Harley dealer but I dont speak Korean. I just need to know the size of the bolt and I will order the length I need from a website or have one of my family members send me one.
I am not really in a hurry to get it on because I dont have a passenger but I do want to get it just in case. And, I dont want to lose my footpeg when I ship everything back to the states.

Just order a replacement bolt from Harley for the left side and put it in the right side.
