Does anyone know if a stock rear fender on a 2005 Heritage Classic fit a 2006 model? I have a chance to get a rear fender (for custom paint)for an 05 at a great price and seems noone knows about fitment, including local dealer....thanks in advance...RB

 

According to HDs web page in the custom shop, custom series area where you can buy complete tins with HD's custom paint the following part number will fit the various years and models listed. I believe if their tins will fit the years and models indicated then the 05 fender you indicated will fit your 06. It would seem most of the issues covered by HDin their description deal with the fuel tank differences, which don't concern you. "IMO"

I would check because the past few years the back tire has been getting fatter and fatter from the factory...
