Default Happy with your spring seat?

I currently have a shadetree spring seat on my slim, but I'm not crazy about it. Feels like I'm sliding off the back, maybe a 4" spring will help...

Anyone have a spring seat they are very happy with? If so , what?

Very happy with mine.

Keep in mind, the springs compress when you sit on the seat, which can tilt the seat to the rear if the springs are too short. Therefore, the seat needs to be taller than you might like when you are off the bike - Read: needs longer springs.

I have 5" springs on mine (though, mine is a custom mounting set-up.

Did you guys go with the tractor style solo in your slim? How did the ECM and battery cover turn out? Also is there any way to keep the stock rear fender with relocating the ECM as required with their kit? Wish that Harley offered a kit to mount the hd tractor solo without major mods to the slim solo kit.

Photos would be awesome,
This (tractor style spring solo) and a windshield are probably my next mods.

I ran the HD spring solo seat on my Slim for most of the first year of ownership. That one gives you no sensation of falling off the back.

I liked everything about it, especially the look. It was surprisingly comfortable as well.

But the one thing I didn't totally get into was the way it sat me up higher on the bike. I really like the in the cockpit feel of the Slim with a lower profile traditional seat on the frame.

So once I got a Shotgun Shock on the Slim, (allowing me to lower it and ride comfortably) I went with the La Pera Bare Bones seat and haven't looked back.
