Thanks for the comlpement... I have the stock bars with the 4" chrome risers HD sells for $104. I really needed the bars to pull back about 2" after installing the Corbin seat and HD had them in stock so I bought them. They are VERY comfy on longer rides now.

Harleygold,
I have roadking high back bars and they are similar to what Bob has but they don't need risers and they look good on my fatboy. I will get a picture of them if you like.

By tins he is refering to the front and rear fender and gas tank, aka "set of tins".

Only dumb question is the one never asked...

"Tins" refers to fenders and tanks. Buy a new bare metal set which you like and have them custom painted. Keep your originals in case you ever want to go back. The value of the bike as a collector may never be there, but the resale value will certainly be better if all the original stuff comes with it.

Check out the numerous bike parts catalogs. There is a nirvana of different fenders and tanks available which would allow you to make it look totally different or almost stock. The beauty is, it's YOUR choice.

New Tank/Fenders is what we are talking about. You can buy sets already painted on ebay but I found someone that can paint mine.
