Need some type of setup to protect my fender from underside of pilon (rivets). Must be very thin. Was thinking about cutting up an innertube to adhere to the underside of the pilon. Anyone find a solution???
If you are talking about the passenger pillion on your seat, I'd pick up some of the clear plastic that comes on it from the factory. Dealer probably has it. If you want something that attaches to the pillion itself and not the fender, you might try a thin piece of carpet?

I ride 90% of the time solo. Otherwise, I like to keep the fender naked. Carpet would have to be very thin. Thinking more in the line of some type of foam/rubber about the thickness of a quarter.
...go to car stereo shop or onlineand get apiece ofspeaker box carpet, the stuff they use tocover speaker enclosures and cover entire bottom of pillion using spray contact cement.
