gas gauge question

gas gauge question
does any know of a wiriest gas gauge for Harley s there got to be a better way then keep checking the mileage or shaking the bike to here if you hear any swishing. Can't see spending big bucks for new tanks just to have this feature.

I assume that you have an EVO with split tanks. The only gauges I've seen for EVO's is a Site Glass which is installed into the side of the tank. I've heard they are sometimes difficult to seal correctly and can sometimes leak.

Thanks guys I never run into any thing yet either but you never know lol. Yes its and Evo. Had bike bikes for 40 years and no gauge so I will keep on going by the mileage haven't ran out yet but had to use the reserve a few times on long runs. Again thanks for all the input.
