Question Speedo low fuel light...
Forum, 06 f/i Fatboy in which the low fuel light stays on all the time even if full. After some research found out there is a wiring change to the newer fuel gauges. Installed a newer flush mount gauge because I switched fuel tanks. The female 4 pin plug under the tank has 4 wires but the newer male plug from the newer gauge has 3 wires. I was told that there was a wiring change on the newer gauges and that the missing 4th wire is the one that goes to the speedo low fuel light. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this and where can I get a diagram on how to wire it ? Sorry for the long thread. Thanks in advance ...

Sounds like you need a manual. The electrical manual shows schematics and should show what you are looking for.
