I have a saddle and bracket/spring kit I was going to use on a project scooter I have. I'd rather raise some funds to finish my bike so I'll offer the 2 for sale here.
I have a 52004-25 Leather Solo Seat- says direct replacement for crossbones)
Step back to the late 1940s. Styled to complement the look of the post-war Harley models, this deep dished leather solo saddle features a firm but comfortable seating surface. The flexible skirt and chrome concho add a nostalgic touch. Available as a direct replacement for the Softail® Cross Bones™ solo seat, this Deluxe Leather Saddle reuses the Original Equipment springs and mounting hardware. Installation on other models requires separate purchase of model-specific Seat Bracket and Spring Kit.
Fits:</B> Fits 08-later FLSTSB, FXST, FXSTB, FXCTC and FXSTS models (except FXSTSSE/2/3) and 86-94 Softail® models. Requires separate purchase of model-specific Mounting Hardware Kit P/N 51902-09 or 52225-89. http://www.surdyke.com/AdvPartInfo.a...umber=52004-25
I also have the mounting kit, number 52225-89.
I'll split them up or do them together. Everything is BRAND NEW, never installed, still in original boxes and even in plastic bags. It was all new when I got it and I never got around to that scooter.
Surdyke has the seat for $228 and the bracket kit for $195. Make me a reasonable offer on one or both.
Thanks!
I looked at ebay, etc for these and seems they are all going over $225. There were some cheaper ones but they look like aftermarket and have white stitching.
This is NOT a stock cross bones seat, it is the narrow, old school seat. It is a direct replacement- not just a stock cross bones seat though. (way cooler than stock)
$150 shipped for the seat. ($75-$100 less than what I have seen out there)
I still have it, have a bunch of take-off stuff, etc from my fatboy that will go on ebay when I get finished with this bike and go through it all.
PM me if interested in the seat.
Seat is SOLD
Still have the mounting kit, number 52225-89 $120 shipped for that! (that is $100 less than the cheapest online price I found. (shipped) and it is all brand new, still in factory HD bags.
