Hawgfoot.....Nice run in BOTM.....obviously some people dont know whata great looking bike is supposed to look like.

I wonder if we photo shopped some bags, windshields and fairings on our Deuces if that would make a differnce!!!!

Hey guys,

Was at my local dealer Saturday for their anniversary celebration. They had the dealer sponsored drag bikes out doing some quick runs/burnouts, it was quite impressive, until one of the dealers mechanics put his Deuceon the line and just blew them away. Thats right, lit the place up, starting in second gear!!!!!! He laid a patch of rubber down that must have been 100' long, i was totally amazed at the amount of power this bike had.

This mechanic is 73 years old and has run this bike at the drag strip.....11.01 @ 124 mph!!!!!

You wouldnt even know this bike had anything, absolute sleeperlooks totally stock, even had stock exhaust. But when he cracked the throttle it sounded great.

Talked with him Monday, might be saving up for some new mods!!!

When I bought my wheels at PM they told me they had a 3 1/2" wide front rim that would fit a 120-21 tire. I couldn't find a fender for it at the time, I would have been all over that, just to be different.

Ok, here's a couple of pics with the V&H pipes and the Mustang seat installed. The stock seat was killing my wifes & my backside. I have not had a chance to ride it yet so I will report when I log a few hours on it. I must say that the seat & backrest have uglied up the bike a bit. I guess I will have to swap out seats when I'm solo riding?! The pipes are great & I love the sound. The performance is very noticeable whit the FuelPak & Ness Big Sucker air cleaner. I'm waiting on the Ness 3" forward controls & I'm hoping that they will accommodate an '07. I have had mixed advice as to whether they will work or not.

Hawgfoot, very nice run on BOTM! I have to agree that I will not participate in BOTM again. Seems to me that it's a bagger popularity contest & as a rule I don't sign up for something thats the deck is stacked against you before you even start. [:@]None the less, your bike was hands down the winner in my mind. Well done!

Thanks again for all the good advice as I mod my bike!

Dude if your gonna keep the stock fender and your present wheelI wouldn't go over a 90-90 it's roughly 1/4" taller and 1/4" wider than a stock mh90and fills the stock fender nicely.
If you want to up it to a 120 then you need to go to at least a 3 or 3-1/2"wheel and then you'll need to swap the fender out too to get proper clearance.
I've seen guys up the tire to a120 and try to keep the stock fender and it was so close it just looked to dangerous to me.
FatKatz is making a deuce fender now for a 120.
I'm using a Russ Wernimont Cobra on mine and I believe it would work okaywith a 120also.
I dropped mine to actually make it fit closer to the 90-90 I'm running without getting so close as to be a danger....

PS I really appreciate all the comps from you guys

I agree with Voodoo. I have cast my last BOTM vote. Great looking bike Hawg.

ORIGINAL: voodoo93

Hawg - you got the BOTM in my opinion bro - Sorry lads but from this point forward I ain't nominating another Smokin' Hot Deuce for BOTM to watch it get outvoted (never beaten) by some model that wins with more numbers - BOTM has lost it's legitimacy, it is now just a popularity contest for which model has the most riders.
