I need some help?! I just bought a Screaming Eagle fork brace off of ebay & it didn't come with any instructions. My problem is I don't know how to remove the collars that are on the forks? There is a small detent in them that looks like you could slide a flathead screwdriver in there but I'm not sure. Any advice would be great!

I used a plastic wedge and a rubber mallet also. instructions say to tap on the seam with a piece of wood. that didn't work to good! so i used the plastic. GENTLY!.
