Will do! I owe you a wiskey/beer if you ever come to Wash. DC area!
Should I just order the parts for the T-bars and do it myself? My dealer wants list price on the parts + 10 hrs. lagor at $88 an hour. I'm looking at $1,500 bucks for handle bars! [:-]I'm not sure how hard they are to install. I put beach bars with heated hand grips on my RK and it was a PITA.
I've got to agree with DD. I was next to my tech the hole
time of the install and it was quite simple. The only thing
that seemed a bit of a hassle was to pass the wires inside
the bars. In my case. He had to add about 4" to the right
side wires. But not in all cases will you have to do so. Like
DD said. Lots of people here have been there, done that.
So we could walk you through it if you decide to take it on.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Well i am back from my 1st MBBW, had a great time. Saw lots of bikes, bike parts and people. Logged about 450 miles of riding in 3 1/2 days. Went to Charleston SCthe 1st day (what a beautiful city), the rest of the miles were put on traveling from one end of MB to the other with some nice back road riding as well. I envy those of you that live down there, some of the best roads i have ever been on. No pot holes, frost heaves, bridge expansion joints or road hazards i have to endure up here in the Northeast.
I too saw a few Deuces, mostly stock with some minor mods. Never realized how much of a minority us Deuce owners are, no wonder we cant win a BOTM contest. Not to brag but, i did getquite a few compliments on my bike, considering the amount of bikes there it made me feel good knowing others liked what i have done to it.
Also saw some great looking customs, some people have great imagination and design capabilities. Wouldnt mind building my own some day.
Unfortunatley, also came upon an accident, a local was hit from behind by a cage Wed.night and was killed. Didnt get the whole story, there was only a small article in Thursdays paper. The group i was with never ran into any trouble or had any close calls (knock on wood) We tried to stay away from the heavily congested areas and took alot of out of the way roads to get to where we were going, seemed to make it a little safer and allowed for some good riding.
I have some pictures that i will post later.

just got back home from a short vacation just saw your post. If you are talking about the back rest that goes on the OEM sissy bar you can use either the short or tall mount. I ordered the tall mount because it gives more support and a better sense of security to my wife when she rides with me.
Firestarter:
I'm about to order a mustang seat and have been debating on the backrest. Does the mustang backrest bolt to the stock backrest or do I need the tall mount.
