Deuce Pictures
It is certainly much different handleing then the Deuce but, it pulls like a freight train. Now i know why some guys end up doing the stage 3 to their Harleys. Twist the grip and hold on!!!!!
Haveing the bigger rear tire and longer (angled)rake took some getting used to but, by the end of the day i was carving the corners just like i do with my Deuce.
The seat is the only thing i dont like, my a$$ was not happy. Other then that, the bike rocks!!!

I am happy for all of you if you are!!!!!!
I've been sitting here all by myself waiting to buy the next round since 6:10 AM yesterday morning!!!!
Glad to hear she's running nicely. The bike is friggin
awesome. Nice weather here in Montreal. It's about
time. What's the handling difference like with that fat
tire. Do you have to lean harder in the corner's?
i bet your going to get a lot of bugs in your teeth for a while......
Had the new ride out yesterday, put on 100 miles, everything went perfect.

She sits much lower then the Deuce, so i have to be a little cautious on how tight i make a turn after a stop, i have to go a little wider so i wont drag.
DD....I didnt realize how much of a difference a wider tire would make in handling, the 1st time i took it out, i was thinking i had made a mistake!! But as with anything new the more you use it the better it feels. The rake definiatley makes a difference, i dont have the turning radius i had with the deuce and it takes the back tire a little longer to "catch up/track" with the front (wheel base?) on turns. Other then that i love the bike and yes i had alot of bugs in my teeth yesterday when i got home.
A couple other things, the fuel milage has been better then i expected,Fridays ride was about100 miles (maybe a little more) filled up yesterday morning 2.34 gallons thats close to 50 MPG, ill take that with a 111 CI motor.I am not exactlysure what yesterdays ride was for mileage but i will keep you posted.
I am still learning the air ride, i am going to call the manufacturer and get a lesson on how to adjust it.
I miss my Corbin seat, i am looking for another alternative. Either a new seat or maybe some gel added to the stock one.
The 6 speed tranny is great, at 60MPH she is only turning 2000 RPM and runs as smooth as silk. With my Deuce, anytime i rode for an extended time above 60 my hands would start to tingle,so farthat has not happened with this bike.
The engine has alot of torque, in 1st gear just putting around a parking lot or coming up to a stop, i have to pull the clutch in and coast. Any twist in the throttlein a lower gear and the bike just wants to go. I couldnt imagine what a 124 CI motor would be like.
The hydraulic clutch and transmission is the cats a$$, no clunk to shift into 1st and you cant even hear it as you upshift through the gears.
I dont think the previous owner detailed itor rode it very much (04 with 2700 miles), tire pressures were low and some of the paint/frame/chrome didnt have that "glass" feel to it. I have started the process of going over ita section at a time deep cleaning and polishing.
Does anyone knowof agood billet aluminum cleaner/polish?? How about something to clean the fins of the engine, it looks as though there are water spots on them, i would like to get it back to looking like new (or close to it)
Thanks forthe compliments, just goes to show how great this site is and how nice some of the people arehere. Too bad we all couldnt meet up sometime and havea drink or two.

I've always had great success detailing my chrome with
Autosol. And lately I added the powerball mini to the ritual
and it really helps to make itshine. For the engine. You'll
probably need a degreaser like simple green and a soft nylon
bristol brush toscrub between the fins. Then finish it off
with acan of engine brightener.

Good luck with the new ride.
Those pipes sound awesome!! Only problem is now the back tire show too much now, looks like I'm gonna need a new rim, damn!!!
A couple chrome doo dads.Other than pipes, seat, and horn cover there ain't much else going on.
