Very sweet DB - the one they have here in Charleston is a gold variation - like I said before, I could see why you could make the swap - not that I like it or agree with it but can see why - and afterall it is YOUR choice - congrats again!!

Very nice Springer Bigelow. Just keep the front wheel on the ground with all that power.

Alright guys. I have a question. Ijust installed a set of 11" Progressives on my wife's Sportster, and now I'm jealous of the look. Her bike looks awesome with the tire tucked under the fender. So now I have the itch to lower my bike more. I have a bolt lowering kit on my bike now. I had the dealer install it and I'm not sure if it's a 1" kit of a 1-1/2" kit. Either way, it's lowered, but not low enough. I see the Progressive 422s are adjustable. My question is, how low will they go and not compromise the ride? Or do they just mean the firmness is adjustable? I've only heard good things about Progressive so I'm pretty sold on the company, unless someone else has a recommendation for another company. I wouldn't mind an air ride suspension, but the cost is a little too high for me and I don't think it's really necessary to get the look I'm wanting. I know you guys are all experts here, so I appreciate your input. Thanks.

all i did on mine was put on the lowering studds. maybe yours can be adjusted a little lower...have you looked under there to see if you still have more adjustment left??

I think the Arlen Ness kit is what I have on mine too. When I talked to them at the dealership, they said that's what they stock, so chances are that's what I got. They just called me and said that I shouldn't lower my bike anymore because of my 180 tire!?!?!? Can't see why the 180 would stop the bike from being lowered when the fender can hold a 200 under it. Could it have something to do with the fact that the 180 was put on without the wide tire kit? I feel so disappointed right now. My wife's rear end looks better than mine! BOTH OF 'EM!
