hey everybody, new to the site so im not sure if this is the right place for a tech ?. my bike is a 2004 deuce and im wanting to install an air ride kit. my ? is which kit is the most dependable and i also noticed that the kit from progressive says that the compressor wont work with the deuce. does anybody on here have air ride with compressor installed on their bike?
I have the system from Street Boutique Customs. I have had no problems with this system, it rides nice and works well and the customer service is awesome. I highly recommend these folks. There website is http://www.streetboutiquecustoms.com/harley.htm. The Deuce pictured at the bottom of the page is mine.
Yeah Vegas, put out some great spreads this year and I made out good betting against the good ole Pats!!! How are the guys at Heartland to deal with? I just shot emails back and forth to them. I stopped in a custom shop by my house that sells BigDog and theyhad nothing good to say about them, probably because they wanted me to spend 6k with them.
Bucs, I thought they had a spoke 18"rim for that kits and the deuce but it was a 60 spoke. What are the pros and cons of a spokewheel as opposed to a rim? I like to do things once and don't want to spend $$$twice.
Hey, Brothers(and Sisters?)
I gotta tell ya I'm lovin' this Deuce pics thread!!!! I'm new to the site(you'll find me in the new members area "Deuce rider from Amish country") and I'm havin' a blast looking at all these classy rides. Congrats, all of you, for some beautiful machines!! Voodoo, what a wild lookin' set of wheels!!! Looks like you had it stretched. How'd you get that look or is it just my perception? Also tell me about the seat. One of the things I'm thinking about changing(among many).
Lotsa questions in the future... gotta go to work soon. Later,

I spoke with Mark at Heartland when I bought my kit.
The dude was super informative. Especiallyputting my
mind at ease about cutting my fender horns. I'm just
a little curious about the 6K price tag. What are you
getting for the 6K??
CC, 6k has from the custom shop they had this custom kit with the offset, tin, struts and paint, plus rim and rubber. I think they were pulling my pud, they just wanted me to buy a big dog, then kept pushing me it get ride of my deuce, very anti harley. i am definatly gonna gowith the heartland crew. i have researched other fat tire kit companies and they just don't pair up to their quailty and look. I would rather pay the extra money for a quality kit. Now I just have to decide if I want to go 200 or 250. I am thinking 200 so I dont have to do the offset. I don't want to mess up the balance of the bike.
Greetings to one and all! I have been reading the forums here(especially the Deuce thread)for a couple months. I am impressed by the quality of bikes i see here to say the least.
I have a '07 Deuce that will be getting some xtras as soon as the piggybank will allow it. I like the fact that someone like me can cometo this forum and read the same ?'s that i have and actually get answers from people that know what they're talking about. I keep in mind that people can be full of chit but here you get more than one opinion and that can be helpful.
Here is a question: Canpeople post audio of their bikeswith aftermarket pipes? I see styles that i know look sharp but wonder how they sound. I don't want something that will wake up everyone in the hoodif i come home late or leave early but i definately know that iwant something other than stock. If you know how to add audio or maybe you have to dwnload a video clip with sound, please post em.Look forward to "hearing" some replies on this one.
ps: if there is a thread like this somewhere else could you please post the link. Thanx [sm=shades.gif]
