Anyone know of the Heritage rear fender rail (91402-00) will fit an 05 Springer Classic? I have purchased a cheese grater style rear bumper, but am starting to think it won't fit with the style of my bike. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HARLE...em190123809527
Animal, The rear fender should be identical to the Springer its the front fender that is different. That being said should work with no problem Call HD they can tell you for sure. Now the front fender on the Heritage Classic Springers of course are interchangable.
First post. Here's my '97 FLSTS (I had new tin painted; still have the pristine original white w/blue stripe tin.) '46 style tank badges w/stainless trim strips.
Thanks for the welcome. Bought her new in Nov '96. Pulled the stock tanks/fenders the next year and had "Jimmy G" Snell (great local painter in the Raleigh area where I live) paint new tin royal blue & cream (I had the blue seat & bag piping, plus it looks like the familiar color scheme seen in pictures of the "first" '36 EL Knucklehead.)
I've always felt the amber passing lamp bulbs add that final "retro" touch. Don't know if they are any different than clear ones brightness-wise (I'm always behind them )
I'm trying to decide whether I should trade for an '07 FLSTSC or keep it and just get a second scoot (wife says we don't have room for 2!) BTW, I dig the way yours looks, especially the dropped rear andV&H pipes. How is it lowered?
