looking to change the rear fender in the winter and some different handlebars
Nice looking bike. I was just thinking today... I wonder what that bike would look like with a gloss black powder coat, at least that would match the frame. Most of my time I wonder how much work it would be to have the frame powder coated flat black.
Are you going to do much more with the gloss black? I am really diggin that look. Inner Primary? Rocker Box Covers? Or have you got as much gloss as is going to get...
probably going to get the rocker covers gloss black after the season and thats about it until i see something else i like. handle bars i am leaning towards the rsd mini apes. i have to get my pipes redone already since i was heading to the gym and my pants melted on my pipe(just a small area thats bothering me!!).. can someone tell me where to get the front turn signal relocators at?? thanks

I was partial to the pegs when I got the bones. I kept the floorboards on for about 500 miles before I ordered the pegs, I never had floorboards before and thought I would give them a shot. The day I put them on I knew it was a good solid mod to make. I like the riding position much better with the pegs, I am a scraper so it was nice to loose the floorboards. I got the recommended rocker pegs with the curb finders, but I could have used any pegs I wanted.
If you like pegs I recommend them for the bones. In addtion they compliment my new seat and bars as those both changed my riding position on the bike to a point where it is more comfortable not to ride so flat footed, as was my tendancy with the boards. The seat puts me lower and the bars have me in a more agressive position. (not as straight up and down as with the stock bars),
The pegs look good. And since you went to a frame mounted seat. I couldn't agree more with your decision for pegs. I ran a Badlander seat for a weekend and hated it with the boards. It would have been fine with pegs.
