I met a coupla guys at Alabama Jacks who said they had been staying at mile marker 82 for years at a little 39.95 motel, clean decent rooms and a good bar across the street and making day trips on down to Key West. Think I'm gonna try it nexttime and waste the extra money on booze and food.
I'm also planning on going to Daytona. Probably going to burn some leave for it, But I think it will be worth it. I was thinking of making the same trip as you as well to the Keys. Maybe we could get a group together and ride down.
Check out Stock Island for food its the island right before coming into Key West ask some of the locals there are lots of fishing boats out of that area and resteraunts right at the docks better atmosphere than some of the down town resteraunts at a cheaper price
