Many years ago that is what many people called it.
Had alot of friends from there when I was younger..
There's some good country road riding there.. Head towards Bishopville or Camden... Darlington as well.. You're not too far from thundertower I know you can hook up with riders there..
Yeah I have planning on some rides up that way. Just recently got rear ended on 601 heading out of Elgin towards 378. I've looked at those roads that you're talking about, when my bike gets out of the shop, I plan to ride that way. You and I might not be that far away from each other. Where are you located? If you don't mind me asking.
Aiken... Elgin used to be a **** hole! Bad speed trap and other violations!
Hope you are OK... And that your bike wasn't damaged too bad.. Check out the frame with a fine tooth comb.... Measure everything you can think of, clearance here level there
Thanks, I appreciate it! Yeah, it's in the process of getting repaired. I will definitely check the bike's frame as well as everything else. If you ever find your way towards Sumter, send me an e-mail. I can be reached at scottpalmo@yahoo.com. We'll go for a ride!
You guys are as close to me as anyone I've seen so far. I will be going back and forth from Lexington (Red Bank) to Eastover everyday and have to head to Shaw every once in a while. I work for the Air Force. Actually, for the next few months anyway, I still AM in the Air Force, but retire in October. I've been on a deployment since January. I can't wait to get home and ride.
