I am in Ontario Canada. Oshawa a town near Toronto.
My company is proposing a job opportunity to me to relocate.
We are opening a factory in Bessemer Alabama.
I have a few questions.
Is this a good area? Can you ride pretty much all year?
Whats the good and bad of the area.
Hows hunting and motorsports like in the area?
Appreciate any answers.
Thanks for your time and might see you in a few month's!!!!!!
I believe it would be safe to say that the winters in Bessemer would be milder than Canada. Sub-freezing temperatures occur this time of year as well as the occasional significant snow event. However, I grew up in north Georgia, which would have a similar climate, and I rode year round. Just had to park it a few days when we had some snow or ice.
There is a national forest a short distance northwest of Bessemer that is probably open to hunting, and you would be close to the Barber Motorsports Park (http://barbermotorsports.com/park/).
