The Hampton Inn on Islemarada (sp) is a great hotel that is very bike friendly. You can park the bikes under the front door canopy and they have someone who keeps an eye on them thru the night.
The Doubletree on Key West has some issues. The door guy told us we could park our bikes under one of the overhangs then a mousy desk clerk on a cigarette break yelled at us (unprofessionably) about it and told us to park in the general cage population - uncovered. After checking with a second door guy we did park our bikes under the overhang but checked on them frequently just in case.
Moral of the story - call any hotel you are considering ahead of time and get confirmation on whether or not they are moto friendly.
Key West and the rest of the Florida keys ROCK. Having just returned from there to 45 degree Ohio weather we can't wait to get back down there. The sights, sounds and smells of the Atlantic and Gulf from 7 mile bridge on a bike is outstanding - just not the same looking thru the windows of a cage. Watch your parking in town on Duval street - my souveneer for the trip was a parking ticket.
We were in the Keys thelast week of March stayed @ Crowne Plaza Key West-La Concha. Had a great time and they weretickled to have bikers. We had3 couples on 3 bikes. They have a fenced parking area. Not much of a fence but had no problems with any of thebikes. Worst problem was the F#*king Roosters crowing at 6am. They areabout half way downDuval Street. Nice & avery neat place. My wife made ourresv. Not sure what you want to spend.I think we payed around $350.00 per night, It was cheaper to do theonline resv. I remember her saying.
Hope this helps we really enjoyed our stay.

The last I heard all the ground floor rooms were taken. There are a buttload of fine roads in any direction, and there might even be some of the very smoothspring water inattendance.[sm=alcoholic.gif]Hope you make it.
