Fellow Florida brothers........I am planning a future trip to the Fla Keys for a few days and was wondering if any of you might offer some advice as to the best time of year to go (to avoid the big crowds) and find decent weather. Also looking for suggestions on biker friendly places to stay and the must see \\;attractions (not necessarily the tourist type attractions). Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated........... \\;
Good place to stay in Key West is the SouthernMost Motel.
 \\;
Most crowded time of year is late October into November with Fantasyfest followed by the Parrot Head convention.
 \\;
Things to see: Sloppy Joe's, Irish Kevin's, Lazy Gecko, Fat tuesday's, Cowboy Bill's Honkey Tonk, Bull &\\; \\;Whistle Bar, Garden of Eden, Teasers, Big In's, Rick's \\;&\\; Durty Harry's, Captain Tony's, Schooner's Wharf Bar, Finnegan's Wake, Fairvilla Mega Store.
 \\;
Just about every place I've visited in the Keys has been "biker friendly". You can't help but have a good time.
the south/central div of fla crew will be makin our second overnight trip to the keys sometime in late 08 or early 09. \\; Jeremy (sleepman) will be organizing the ride as he did last year. \\; it twas a good time - \\;a little short tho, thus he is thinking of making it a two night stay. \\; as usual the thread will be in mmm section.
Thanks for the info wecroft.............

I'll make sure you get the information. Right now I'm thinking about January, same time we went last year. The weather was perfect and it'll give us some time to recoupe after the Ocala Rally. Make sure you keep an eye on the Ocala Rally thread in MMM as well. Look forward to riding with you again.
