Another 1000 mile trip........
We left last Sunday morning for Boone NC for a 4 day ride. Rode all around Boone, Grandfather Mountain, Banner Elk and Valle Crusis that evenin. Took off Monday morn for Shady Valley turned north on 133 to Damascus VA, turned east on 58 to Mouth of Wilson and then south on 16 to Jefferson NC and then southwest on 88 to US421(rained like a monsoon for an hour) and back to Boone that evenin. Up Tuesday morn back to Jefferson and 221 north to 21 to Independence VA and onto Wytheville VA for a BBQ lunch and then a fast hop on 81 to Bristol VA to Black Wolf HD , a tee shirt/gas and 421 back to Boone. Rained again on us from Lake Holston to Shady Valley back to Mountain City but once again the Overpass suit worked great. Had my older brother along on the trip, first time we have had a chance to ride together plus 4 other friends that we do an annual trip together. One hell of a ride and some good lies told over drinks in the afternoon. Cant wait till next month, we may do it again.......
