1st good trip........
Left Monday 8/18 for a 4 day trip with 10 friends to Bryson City NC to slay the Dragon, ride Cherohala, Wayah road, NC 28 and a day trip into Georgia to Blood Mountain to ride the loop (stop at Suches and eat a sammich at the store....MMMMM good!!!)and Dalton GA to Mountain Creek HD( had to have a shirt to add to the collection). What a hell of a trip for me. Almost 1300+ miles in 4 days, good friend, good eats and good times. Took the Dragon at my own pace so not too much to it as far as excitment but a hell of a ride through all the curves!!!!! Cherohala, simply awesome road and views, nice and cool at the top. Wayah road, twisties out the ***(gravel in the turns)....BEWARE!!!!!!!!!! NC 28, the same thing minus gravel. We met up with 4 fellas from Jersey at the motel and they rode with us Tuesday on the Dragon and Cherohala, great guys. Rode south on NC 9 to Lake Lure on the way up, another good ride and then up 74 to asheville on Monday. Too many good side trips not enough time. Already planning for next time..........
