Does anyone know where the H.O.G. Pin Stop is in Fayetteville?
The Harley Owners Group (H.O.G) has designated BBB as an official pin stop. Stop by their display at Baum Stadium. Rest awhile.
Chat with the staff. Get special treatment. And pick up a commemorative
pin (must be present to receive), for H.O.G. members only. Make sure to bring your H.O.G card.......This info is directly from the Facebook page.
OK, I wuz gonna ask WTF a "H.O.G. pin stop" was. Glad that's cleared up.
Yeah, I'll be there. I live ~5-6 miles from the activities.
Best way up from Texas (at least Hou and Dallas areas): Get on 259 in Texas however (59 from Hou, I30 from Dallas), take 259 N to 59, 59 N to I540. Get off I540 at Fayetteville. Watch out for speed traps in OK. Not much worse than small bumfuq TX towns, for that matter.
I'm in the woods, like I said, ~6 miles from town. I can hear the rumble from my garage. It's great. There's a good turnout this year. I'd say the biggest one they've had yet. A lot higher HD/other ratio as well. Hope ya'll have a good time.
I had a blast. My rear pulley shattered friday
morning. Spent all day getting it back together.
So was down one day of riding. Dickson was crazy
Sat. night. Most people I have ever seen there.
OK, Im back from the BB&BBQ here is a couple little videos i took with my iphone Saturday night, It was extremely crowded, the Food was great, the music was great, but the prices was out of this world..but id go agian in no problems.
We made it home in Texas at 8:30 Sunday nite. We rode 820 mis. in 3 days! It was great! We really enjoyed riding to Eureka Springs on Sat. and hangin' for a couple of hours; And we really enjoyed the ride home Sunday on the Pig Trails and the Talimena Scenic Biway through the Quachita Mountains (SH 88).
It was awsome--the Talimena Scenic Drive rides the ridge on top of the second highest summit in AR--and sometimes you could see 100+ miles on both sides of the road! If you get a chance to ride this Highway, do it! It is a perfect 10 on my rating scale!
Don't know 'bout the BBQ, but the Bikes, Blues, & Beer was great!
