Hi all,
I just moved to the San Antonio area from Louisiana. I called my insurance (State Farm) to transfer my coverage. These clowns quoted me $105 per month! I was paying $37 in Louisiana. My rates went down slightly on my Silverado, but not enough to offset the motorcycle. What do you guys recommend for the best coverage?
I have had Dairyland insurance coverage on all my bikes for a number of years. They have had the best price I've found. Btw welcome to San Antonio. Keep your head on a swivel around here.

I just changed from State Farm to All State.
Prices were much better.
Insurance in Texas is just ridiculous. I am paying more for the bike and vehicles here then i did in Chicago or California. But every thing else is better then those two states,so its a fair trade lol
I've got Foremost on my bike and boat through Farmers but I've been looking elsewhere. I'll have to check out Dairyland. I've been with Farmers for decades, insured literally dozens of vehicles with them and despite making one minor claim 5 years ago, my rates just increased about 20%..... I'm out.
We had one major claim with them and they were top-notch in their response. We have been with the same agent for over 30yrs and he's always treated us,right.
