The Desert Rose is a little out of the way according to the ride planner, plus its not so much along the way. You guys are probably better off at the Tin Top there on the corner of 383rd (Wintersburg) and the Salome. Only downside is there is no high grade at the gas station
If that's the case, and you want a few more twists, instead of turning of Old 80 at Salome, ride it out a few more miles to Arlington School Rd. It twists up and eventually turns into 355th. From there, you can turn west onto Elliot, and then north onto 383rd.
This is my usual ride to/from work and I love it. Hardly any traffic, and some good desert riding. That road is all I need to clear my head.
I think I modified per your instructions, but not sure. Please check. BTW, the Desert Rose is stop 6 on the ride plan, so it seems we will go right by it.
