Default Phoenix People Help Me!!!

Ok here is the issue I know not bike related but it could be in the future. I am having a hard time finding a job in this city. I have tried almost everywhere the only places I really havent tried are fast food joints. I am wanting a job that is half way respectable. The reason this could be linked to bikes is if I dont get a job I cant pay my bills which means bike would be gone. Anyone with any information please help me out please!!!

Thanks everyone

Ben

Give us a little to go on, previous jobs, skills, etc.

There's a lot of RIFs going on now, even in the city jobs.

You could always try the temp. agencies, could lead to long term employment.

Also try UPS or one of them for seasonal work... at least that'll give you a check for now.

Otherwise, I'm with Joe, we need more to go on!

For your future... there is a motorcycle mechanic school somewhere around here... could lead to motorcycle related job skill for the future.

Otherwise, jobing.com, monster.com.

I hate to suggest this one, but you could try local hospitals for stuff like patient transport, or food service. Pay won't be great, but if you can walk they'll hire you.

Its kind of hard to point you in any direction when we don't know what your looking for or able to do.

I know my Daughter worked for Fed EX two yrs ago during Xmas rush.

I'll give you $20 if you have your girlfriend wash my bike in a bikini.

29 works for me. Actually anything up to 40 depending on how much gym time she has is fine.

Great idea Black Cherry!
I got my degree from them and a lot of my classmates were working for the U and getting their degrees for free.
Another option is checking out the trades. I don't know if you are a hands on guy or the office type but I have been talking to a lot of contractors over the past couple of years. They are always complaining that they can't keep good help. Either they do not show up or they have terrible driving records or cannot pass a pee test. It is kind of a joke right now with the contractors. If you pass these three tests, you are a journeyman. Anyway, you might want to check the less common trades such as sign companies, alarm companies, fence companies etc. when I moved here in '83 I applied for a job at a local sign shop, did not get hired but visited the shop every day for two weeks straight. The foreman finally told me that if I was going to be there every day that I may as well be working for them and he hired me. To be honest with you I felt kind of silly doing it but I was in a bad spot. I was running out of money and needed work fast.
Good luck Ben and let us know how it works out.
