just a question to anyone whom has taken the msf class here in AZ. Will I need my permit before hand or can I go straight from class to get my license?

thanks all

Provided you pass, you can go to the DMV. Our classes end on Sunday so you will have to wait until Monday. You will take the completion card and all you will have to do is take the written class. Good Luck and remember: Keep you head and eyes up!

RideSmart is 3 half-days, friday-sunday. Friday night you go through a handbook, watch a couple of videos and take the permit test. Saturday is all riding and practice. Sunday seems like practice but one of the instructors is grading as you go through the same drills you had done on saturday. On monday you take you papers to DMV and get your new DL with the MC endorsment. I believe TEAM does it the same way.

I took the class lat April in Tempe and went directly to the dmv and they issued my license. Good luck, it is well worth the price to learn so much quickly.

My wife and I took the Team Arizona class about 4 years ago now. Excellent class, especially for my wife, who had only been a passenger to that point! Took the written and riding test on Sunday, and got a voucher, which we then took to the DMV and got our 'M' endorsements. Just had to pay the admin fee (it was $12 or $16 at the time I think).

Good luck, and have fun!

I took the Riders Edge class through my local Harley. Couple of hours each Thurs. & Fri. night. All day on the practice range on Sat. & Sun. Sunday ended with the riding tests, then met on Monday night for the written exam. After passing just take the paperwork to DMV and just had to take the eye test and pay for the endorsement.
Great Class BTW
