i was thinking of putting a set of 14" burley bars on my 2014 iron but i was at las vegas harley a few weeks ago and the guy there was saying the cable kit from burly is junk and said go with the la choppers kit with the burly bars
I heard same thing about the burly kits so when I put 12" apes on mine I bought some wire for extensions and got the extended clutch cable and brake line from ebay and it was bit cheaper that burly kit
I've heard a lot of people say the burly kits are too long and you should buy the next size smaller. But never heard anything about poor quality. I think someone is selling 14" burly bars in the classifieds section.
I have installed the 14 Burly apes on mine (really nice). The burly cables are long!!!! I install the 12in cable with my 14 bars and they fit great. Quality is not that great. I Broke a throttle cable and tried to get a replacement and burly said they don't sell replacement cables. Quality is not as good as stock. But they work. For Now!
