Take a listen to what you can do with your stock exhaust...everyones ear is different in what they like, but I think they sound much better than any of the V&H pipes.

Also less expensive AND more power.

This graph is from the exhaust shootout, linked in a previous post. The Screamin' Eagle slip-ons hold their own, with an early and flat torque curve, beating the V&H the whole way. In the States, V&H are a dime a dozen, being run by every-other Harley on the road. Kinda boring. I actually like Harley's slip-ons, but I've gotten older and don't appreciate the loudness of the V&H, so I'm biased. The Screamin' Eagle slip-ons give a slightly louder note than factory, but the tone is deeper and sounds great without being obnoxious.

As for warranty, I don't know how that works in India. Harley motors are rather dependable, but **** happens. If it's true that V&H slip-ons will void it, and you gotta have a new sound right now, I'd go with the SE. The bike's cost includes the price of the warranty, so why throw the warranty away? I have personally witnessed a new Sportster having a motor replaced at 450 miles because one of the valves broke and destroyed a head, leaving all kinds of crap floating around. Warranty covered it and the new motor went 50,000 miles with no problems (except a bad crank position sensor replaced at 30,000 miles).
Full disclosure: I've had a set of (older style 2004-2006) Screamin' Eagle II slip-ons installed on my 883 Sportster for 7 years. My Softail has had V&H pipes for about 8 years.

I ran the SE Street Performance (SESP) mufflers on my 2007 XL1200R. I really like them. They are much louder than led to believe. However, the SESPs will not work on the 2014 Sportster. If you want the Harley Mufflers, those are now called the Street Cannons. They have the cats in them though. They are the only Harley option now. I have not heard them on a 2014 HD yet, so can't comment how they compare to the SESPs. They are pretty expensive, that is for sure. They are 50-State legal here (vice the SESPs being 49-State legal). Again, can't comment on their sound or performance. I went with the Khrome Werks as they were $227 delivered vice the almost $500 for the Street Customs.

I was un-aware that Harley discontinued the SESP and went to the Street Cannons. I'll have to keep that in mind.
