so let me get this straight , you put a used fuel tank you got off ebay on your bike and the liner started to peel clogging your fuel system right? yet you think the dealership is wrong making you pay for the labor to fix your screw-up. as a rule of thumb any time you install a gas tank the inside should be inspected and kremed if needed , buying parts off ebay can be a crap shoot, and last if you write them a bum check there will be a mechanic lean against your bike and in the event it ends up in small claims court the judge can and probably will tack on interest.
my advise is remove the tank , clean it thoroughly and have it resealed and dont burn any bridges with the dealer.
Has to be labor.. Idk how they got all that crap out of the tank.. And it might be some crap in there left that might cause the cycle to stall again anytime. Afraid to even ride it now. He saved the lining from the inside of the tank and put it in a ziplock bag to show me how much was in there. And another thing im gonna gripe about is that they were rude to me when they called me to say what the problem was. This is my very very last trip to that dealership I'll never step foot on that property again.
They replaced parts under warranty for you although the problem was a cheap tank that you bought from ebay and not only are you not considering paying them for cleaning it up you have a problem with the dealership? You caused the problem, they tried stuff to fix it, and yet they are the ********?
If it's not a fuel issue, which it sounds like it is not. I might be
tempted to get to a different shop. A common issue could be just a poor ground..
Hit a bump and you come to a slow stop....
Try another shop if they cant narrow it down after 3 or 4 attempts.
Yep. drove home fine i avoided all highways took me like hour and 10 minutes to go 28 miles. I went thru Kansas City and other byways just incase. Going to recoat the inside of the tank.

Be careful when you recoat the tank or the same thing may happen. Kreem is easy to screw up. You may consider letting someone do it professionally.
