My question for the day is............ There is a screw hole in the induction module, just above the mouth if the intake. An air cleaner bracket goes there. My question is, does that threaded hole go all the way through, and suck air if it is not plugged? A dealer installed a Screamin Eagle air box, and did not plug the hole. After three thousand miles I just noticed it. CRAP! Thanks in advance.
Lol...if it needed to be plugged (i.e.: caused a vacuum leak), you would already found out it needed to be. You will be alright. If you want to, you can find a brass plug and install it to plug the hole.

If you could post a picture maybe we can help you out.
I think he is talking about the vent hole. There are three threaded holes that hold the air cleaner backplate on and one open. That you don't want to plug. Leave it alone.
On carb bikes that is a bowl vent. Not sure if it has any function on EFI or not.
