Help..Mystery Plug Hanging from air cleaner..

I was changing my slip-ons today and looked up at my air cleaner and saw this plug hanging from the back of the football! What is it and where does it go????

I would like to know also, but nothing to worry about. My wife and I both have 07 FXDs, and it is hanging down on both of them. So it is supposed to be that way.

part of the california/overseas emission package. Just wire tie it up out of the way.

Sensor plug for European models not active.. when I upgraded AC was told just by Jamie at FuelMoto to twist tie it off, otherwise it clips to the inside of the football.

No problem.

i have the same plug hanging on my bike just try and connect it back to the football or wire tie it up

I have that as well.

I always stress about it when I am cleaning the bike... but then something shiny catches my attention and I forget all about it.
