I was changing my slip-ons today and looked up at my air cleaner and saw this plug hanging from the back of the football! What is it and where does it go????

hard to tell from the photo... could it be a battery tender?

 

I would like to know also, but nothing to worry about. My wife and I both have 07 FXDs, and it is hanging down on both of them. So it is supposed to be that way.

 

part of the california/overseas emission package. Just wire tie it up out of the way.

Sensor plug for European models not active.. when I upgraded AC was told just by Jamie at FuelMoto to twist tie it off, otherwise it clips to the inside of the football.

No problem.

i have the same plug hanging on my bike just try and connect it back to the football or wire tie it up

 

I think there is a servo operated air door inside the air box on overseas models, the plug does baisically nothing for us, just tie it up and out of the way

I have that as well.

I always stress about it when I am cleaning the bike... but then something shiny catches my attention and I forget all about it.
