Thank you. I have the HD tires on there from the PO.
They are practically new, still have the rubber **** and blue line on the tread.
I heard they are not that great but I have to wait.
A friend of mine has Avon.
Thanks again,
Jim
I don't suggest throwing those away, at least not yet! Avon is a good choice - I have them on my Glide and have used them on my Harleys since the '70s!
Check out Sick Saddles. They make awesome seats for Sportys and Dynas. Sicksaddles.com the owner is awesome to work with and the product is outstanding. I am waiting for two seats myself.
The most comfortable seats I have are 2-up seats that are fairly flat (pictured below). Not too soft, not too hard, with room to move around to change your position from time to time. Seats that lock you into one spot/position may look cool, but can become uncomfortable on a long ride. Of course, the seats I've pictured look better on a fairly stock bike, and that's probably not what you're looking for.
Being able to move your feet may help redistribute your weight on the seat. Some simple folding highway pegs that bolt to your front motor mount plates might help, too.
I do have a seat I throw on for looks (it's the stock seat, believe it or not), but I can't stand it for more than about 45 minutes to an hour...ha ha

You can either keep the stick tires as spares or ride the stockers until you need a new set.
Keep a watch out for used seats on your local Craigslist, I've found some great deals. Corbin seat listed in your area right now. Been listed for a few days so you may get them down some on the price. http://tampa.craigslist.org/hil/mpo/4837701750.html
