Your tsm, which is your flasher and more is located under your battery. You can see it if you look up from the swing arm in front of the rear tire.
So. Just a thought....if you hooked up your running lights to your signal light system, when trying the wrong two wire bulb, you may have popped your tsm. If you do have security on the bike that would be why it won't try to start. Or you left your fob in the house and it is not close enough to the bike.
I just double checked on mine. It has the security feature on it. With my key fob far away my bike will light the lights, prime the fuel pump but will not start. Based on this and what you have said I assume you have security. Make sure fob is close and battery in fob is good. Double check all fuses and breakers then I would be looking at the tssm.
