Had a mini bike with a Briggs & Stratton 3.5 HP motor in 1974 (I was 12)[sm=icon_ladiesman.gif] bought a Sporty 883C 32 years later. Bit of a learning curve there.

When did you learn to ride, and on what kind of bike?
I learned to ride on a Cushman motor scooter in 1950 when I was twelve years old.

I'm like Sportypig. I learned on a honda mini trail back in the 60's. A yellow one like his pic. We did these things to that bike.

1. Broke the levers once a week

2. broke the rear spindle doing wheelies once a month

3. Took it to the lake and burried it in quick mud up to the handle bars.lol

I learned to ride in 1971, at the age of 12, on a Honda Mini trail 50. Then got my first street bike, a Honda 100, and my "motor driven cycle" license in 1973.

I don't have a pic of a Honda 100, but I did come across a picture of a Mini Trail 50 that is identical to my first bike.

I was 8 in 1971, had the same bike. Mine was blue.
