I'm down to buy that beer if you're ever in the area!

Dealers have to desclose that here. You did good by passing on the bike. They should have known about the title no matter what they say.

Quick question, did the dealer contact you to tell you that they just found out about the bike or did you tell them about the title???

One year newer, clean title and only 11000 miles. I'm stoked. These guys are straight up and I would recommend them to anyone
Good to see them make it right

hect, I still like the teal one, if they fully tested & inspected it then it should be an okay bike, I'd ask them to drop the price and go for it.

the black ones are everywhere, it's a nice one, it has a few extras but that teal one was extra nice and might even be in better shape since it was rebuilt.

im glad everything worked out. I'm not sure how they could not have known about the salvage title though, it says "SALVAGE" directly on the title.
its weird how the dealer says "someone cleaned the title up. Meaning someone it was salvaged but somebody cleaned it up to look as if it wasn't."
cleaning the bike up to look new is one thing, but "cleaning the title" makes no sense. are they trying to say somebody whited out the "salvage" that is printed on the title?

Sometimes when a salvage title bike from one state is transfered to another state, the "salvage" doesn't show on the new title. That's why it's always smart to do a VIN history check.

Whatever the case, they made it right and no one is worse for wear.
