Progressive 412 suggestion

Unfortunately I'm on a budget so will have to stick to 412 series.
It's a hard call. Looking back, I tend to ride 2-up twice on weekends and maybe 1-2 times solo during the week, and honestly mostly downtown strolls...
I'm tempted to go for 412 HD, just not sure about length now. How will length impact my solo riding with HD?

I've got Progressive HD on the rear of my 98 Sportster, and it really helped a lot when I'm riding 2 up. It's been so long ago I can't recall what length I got. I haven't noticed anything bad with the ride quality either on a straight road or the twisties. Been on the Dragon 2up once, and solo maybe 4-5 times with the Sportster. My wife and I are both on the heavier side however. Depending on your weight, HD shocks might be too much if you're under 200 lbs, and riding solo, IDK.
