Question Biltwell High Drags

https://www.biltwellinc.com/p187/buy...1-quot-chrome/

I've never had to deal with a handlebar system that uses risers, I'm a bit lost. Will these bars fit my bike?

Thanks for any tips.

Those are riserless bars. So you'll just screw them right in. Biltwell is really good about giving measurements if you look lower on the page. I'd take those measurements, or print this out, take your phone etc and check on your bike with a measuring tape. You will want to make sure it seems like it will be in a comfortable position. Also make sure your clutch, throttle, and brake cables will be long enough.

Hoping someone would know so I don't have to tear it apart to measure the holes.

A- call Biltwell with your model and year and ask them if they will fit
B- get a tape measure, go to your bike, and measure center to center of the existing bolts

Not rocket science, do what you gotta do to get the bars you want.

3.5" is the proper spacing that you will need in order to install those bars for your bike. You may be able to use your original bolts and washers. If you will be using your stock controls, get the dimpled bars for the wiring fit.

Don't see why not. If you get them, post some pics. Would like to see how they look. I installed a similar bar like that one on a friends sportster once and the only problem I came across was with the speedometer mount. Had to fabricate some parts in order to get it right.

Yea, gonna put the speedo on the side of the bike. Parts are all ordered, hopefully get everything installed next week.

I was still able to locate the speedo with the bar but had to cut some old bar and make an extension. Worked well.

I put together this bike for a friend that became disabled and was having a hard time balancing and walking. At the end it came out okay for him. Now I just need to develop some type of shift levers because he is having problems shifting with his foot. I will figure something out soon I hope.
