That looks like a great find to me. I haven't seen this one yet. If you run across somebody with an actual daymaker sometime, you'll have to let us know how the compare. I would expect the Daymaker to be better at 3x to 4x the cost. But if these Asian knock-offs even come close, they'd be a bargain.
looking at them during the daylight they look as good as the daymaker.
My mate has one on his 48 and if I can get him out in the dark over the winter I will let you know
the one you found looks pretty good too
I'd like to improve the stock headlamp lighting on my seventy two, but $400 for a Harley daymaker is a bit rich, Are the very close alternatives that perform as well and install as easily ?
Thanks
Here you go hotrod. They fit my 09 Heritage you may check yours
Looks great, but take care Mr T. They are supplied from China, so will probably attract UK import duty and tax, plus a delivery charge, roughly 25-30 quid extra. It's worth taking a look around to see pricing elsewhere. Coming from China will also take quite a long time, as they typically use the cheapest delivery available.
It also looks as if there are several different light units claiming to be 'daymaker'. The ones the MoCo sells are LED, but some I've looked at are HID, they also have a variety of styles on a similar theme. May be difficult to get one that is genuinely good quality in terms of beam pattern and brightness. It's a shame Trucklite doesn't make a 5 1/4" one for us.
