I was just surprised at the price they can be got for! But yes Mr B, I agree, with Chinese stuff it can be absolute crap or surprisingly good. At this stage I've no intention of buying one, but I do have a LED bulb on its way to have a play around with that though.
109 seems like a damn good deal and why not give it a shot
Speaking for myself, I certainly would have if I still needed one. But I already went through the trouble of changing the buckets on 2 bikes to accept the 7" truck-lite. And even went through more hassle fitting a 7" Truck-Lite into a quarter fairing headlight opening that was intended for a 5.75" light.
No regrets though, worth every bit of hassle & expense to have superior lighting, IMO.
i love mine. there.. a plug. that earns me a discount on a 2" lift for my dyna, yes?
That's funny. I can't count how many times I have plugged DK Customs. They are absolutely the best I have experienced in customer service and have quality products which they test out themselves before selling.
If he starts giving discounts for plugs, I should be getting free stuff...LOL, and you know that won't happen. Nah, just playing around and having some fun.
i have the daymaker pricey as hell yes - great light yes -
if dk had the bulb when i was lookingto purchase an upgraded light
i would have purchased the bulb from him and save alll that money for my other parts or my AR .. they didnt have the bulb at the time i was searching for stuff
if i had the chance to do it again and DK had the light i would go with DK
