Hi I recently obtained in 1994 sportster 883 hugger with 140 miles on it . It hasn't been started for about four years I'm going to buy new battery for it but can you give me advice on what else I should do to it before actually crank over the motor.
You should not do anything to it, instead you should PM me a place to pick it up

WHAT? 140 miles?
I've put over 4,000 miles on mine since I picked it up in May.
Yeah, take your time and what they ^^^^said. You're gonna have a blast when it's done!
Beautiful bike, that's a keeper for sure. '91-'94 are the best years IMHO for evos. You have the upgraded oil tank mount with the '94, but still simple electrics IIRC. I have a black '91 standard model that looks identical except tank decal. You are blessed.
Make sure your brakes are 100%, don't risk it!!!
