Default Changing the Oil

Bought the bike in September. Changed the oil as soon as I bought it. Only rode it 3 times unfortunately. I'm putting it away for winter.

Is an oil change necessary at this point? Or should I just put new oil in it prior to putting it away?

Thank you

With that little use so far...

I wouldn't bother.

All the best,

Shane

Did you buy it new or used? Regardless, oil is still good.

Well, if the 3 times were each 1,000 mile road trips I'd change it.
Saying "3 times" isn't really useful info...

haha! very valid point.

It was 3 times, just around the neighborhood to get used to the bike. The longest ride was probably 45 mins to an hour

You'll be fine, however if you don't have one get a battery minder, to keep your battery snug and healthy.
