Default Need Help/Advice

Hey all.

I am planning on doing some changes to my Iron this winter. I'm planning to put on Biltwell Clubmans as well as relocating the speedo down to the frame.

- Are there any problems I should prepare for during installation? (wiring, clearance, etc)
- Are there any other parts I should be getting that I'm overlooking?

all the cables and lines will reach, and then some. so you may have to do some creative routing to make it look just right. take your time.

also, seeing as how youre going for the cafe-esque style im guessing based on the clubman selection for the handlebars, i would say a 2 into 1 exhaust and a set of 13'' shocks would go a long way.

I can't decide what direction I want to go, honestly. I have always loved the cafe style, community and nostalgic value, but as it stands, I'm not crazy about any of the available tail section options. I'd rather not fork the money out for a custom commission.

I've considered putting a solo spring saddle on, chopping the rear fender and dropping the rear end, kind of Bob it out. Not sure how the clubmans would look in that setup. I'm sure I would like it either way.

Lots to decide on. I don't mind buying the clubmans now and then getting another set down the road if I don't like it.

I really like this setup as well. Those are inverted biltwell trackers, among other awesome things.

I like teh Clubman bars, but mainly because I remember people putting them on all manner of bikes in the 70s and saw plenty of older original cafe racers with them on.
