Looks great! I tried to polish some of the aluminum parts on my bike and I have to tell you I have no patience for it. It takes a lot of work to get that aluminum to shine like that. It sure does look good though.
Yeah at one time I used to use chrome polish on anything shinny, but now you read the directions and there are all kinds of warnings about not using it on this or that. I don't know what is clear coated and what is not these days so I'm scared to try to polish anything for fear of messing it up.

Question for you, do you know what material is the slider? Metal? Aluminum? I was in a hardware store today and asked for the buffing compound, I dwasn't sure which one I should get. Thanks Alex
DONE, have some touch up to do, but wanna see 'em in the daylight, I put the Fender and wheel back on, and 128auto they are Aluminum, Cast Aluminum very soft.
