Don't have a PC5 but many place their unit in the battery compartment. When you replace your battery, consider a lithium battery. It is smaller and lighter which would also produce ample space in the battery compartment for other accessories. I have a Powervision tuner and installed the unit on my handlebars since I use the unit as a gauge to monitor ECM data.

Here is a pic of Kevin's (DK Customs) install of his unit in the battery compartment with an AG lithium battery.

Here is the difference between the AG and stock. This is a 16 cell 480 CA battery.

Maybe it depends on the seat because I just laid mine on top of all the other crap under there and the seat just fit back on no problem.

If you don't have enough room under your seat for the PCV, then you can velcro it to the inside of the battery cover. There is enough room there for it.

Thanks i moved some stiff around and got it to fit. I was also wondering is anyone using the speed wire? Id prefer not to tap into a wire if i don't have too.

When I researched different types of batteries, I was looking for a powerful battery in a small casing to eliminate the hesitation when starting and so I could fit other things in the battery compartment. Could not find any that had the cells (16) and cracking power (480 CA) like that one AND was small and light. Yes a bit pricey... but IMO worth the price. You need to compare apples and apples to compare price.

There are less powerful lithium batteries at lower price points, but you need to ensure you have enough CAs to kick your motor....I have no hesitation when starting my engine unlike my stock one. Here are the different types of AG batteries:
